About the Role
Operators will conduct routine inspections of gas plant equipment, maintain daily operating records across three 3 MW gas production plants, and respond to plant emergencies as needed. The position requires compliance with PHMSA drug and alcohol testing and meeting Part 195 OQ requirements upon hire. • Perform routine operating inspections of gas plant equipment. • Complete daily operating records for three 3 MW gas production plants. • Respond to plant emergencies promptly. • Work 12‑hour shifts in compliance with PHMSA drug and alcohol testing.

What You Bring
• Meet Part 195 Operational Qualification requirements upon hire. • Possess a High School Diploma or GED. • Hold a valid driver’s license and Minnesota 1‑C Boiler license. • Able to climb to the top of refrigerated gas storage tanks. • Read and understand plant process drawings and records. • Successfully complete the medical evaluation for Xcel’s LNG Qualification Program.
