About the Role
ERM restores contaminated industrial sites and protects communities through high‑impact decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition (DDD) projects. As a Managing Technical Consultant, Remediation, Demolition and Construction Manager, you will lead complex remediation projects across the United States, including locations such as Houston, Austin, New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The role is field‑focused, requiring you to act as the on‑site leader who oversees contractors, manages risk, and ensures safe, efficient delivery to ERM’s rigorous standards. You will coordinate between Project Managers, field teams and clients to keep projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining compliance with environmental and safety regulations. • Oversee on‑site DDD projects at industrial facilities such as oil & gas sites, power plants, and former chemical plants • Manage demolition, remediation, civil works, site development, earthwork and hazardous waste activities • Plan, schedule and supervise remediation and construction tasks • Review contractor submittals for compliance with specifications and regulations • Provide construction management support and conduct QA/QC inspections • Support site investigations and hazardous material handling • Act as Field Safety Officer and Demolition Manager when needed • Schedule on‑site staff, evaluate subcontractor performance and maintain clear communication with project teams • Track budgets, manage scopes of work and help define new project scopes

What You Bring
The position requires extensive travel (80‑90 % field), a background check and is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. ERM is an equal‑employment‑opportunity employer and does not accept recruiting agency resumes. • 4–5 years experience in remediation construction and industrial decommissioning • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project • Strong client service, communication and organizational abilities • Willingness to travel 80–90 % of time in the field • Ability to pass background check and drug screening • Preferred: OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification (OSHA 30‑hour Construction and 8‑hour Supervisor training a plus) • Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
