About the Role
As an Assistant Property Manager you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the property under the guidance of the Property Manager. You will assist with leasing, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight while maintaining high standards and delivering top‑notch service to residents and staff. You will support the Property Manager in their absence, help process payments and purchase orders, coordinate work requests, and ensure compliance with federal and state Fair Housing laws and company policies. • Address delinquent accounts, initiate evictions, and attend court hearings as needed. • Assist with leasing activities, move‑ins, resident insurance, and lease renewals. • Schedule appointments for prospects and residents and record all resident correspondence. • Promote resident retention programs and promptly resolve resident concerns. • Process payments, purchase orders, and coordinate property maintenance tasks. • Provide managerial support in the Property Manager’s absence. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
