About the Role
The accountant is responsible for handling a broad range of accounting functions for assigned business units, including general ledger, benefits, payroll, accounts payable, G&A, accounts receivable, accruals, and allocations. They will also provide accounting support to shared services departments and prepare daily journal entries and monthly account reconciliations. Additionally, the accountant will attend required meetings, conduct monthly variance analysis for balance sheet and income statement areas, and assist with internal and external audit preparation and review. • Record transactions and produce financial statements for assigned business units • Manage general ledger, benefits, payroll, accounts payable, G&A, accounts receivable, accruals, and allocations • Provide accounting support to shared services departments • Prepare daily journal entries and monthly account reconciliations • Attend meetings as needed • Conduct monthly variance analysis for balance sheet and income statement • Assist in preparation and review of internal and external audit requests
