About the Role

In this position you will evaluate and implement utility asset management activities such as inventories, criticality assessments, condition evaluations, remaining useful life estimates, and cost projections. You will serve as project manager for field and office teams, coordinate multidisciplinary efforts, maintain client relationships, oversee project schedules, budgets, and QA/QC, and collaborate on business‑development pursuits while mentoring staff and supporting recruiting initiatives. • Evaluate and implement utility asset inventories, condition assessments, and life‑cycle projections. • Lead multidisciplinary project teams from development through close‑out. • Manage client relationships, marketing, contract, and design meetings. • Coordinate staffing, schedule, budget, and QA/QC for project deliverables. • Forecast capital and O&M needs and track financial performance. • Mentor staff, support recruiting, and develop business‑class capabilities.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include experience with MS Office, MS Project, and SharePoint, strong business‑development and strategic‑planning capabilities, and a solid technical background in designing, operating, or managing treatment, collection, and distribution systems. Candidates should demonstrate proven project leadership, excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills, with a preference for local applicants. Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of ten years’ relevant professional experience. Candidates may need professional registration, license, or certification, and must possess strong communication, multitasking, leadership, and organizational abilities, along with a commitment to the employee‑owned culture. • Required: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 10+ years of experience. • Preferred: Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and SharePoint. • Strong business development, strategic planning, and technical expertise in water/wastewater systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
