About the Role
The accountant will perform accounting functions for assigned business units, including general accounting, benefits, payroll, payable, G&A, accounts receivable, accruals, and allocations. The role provides accounting support to shared services departments, prepares daily journal entries, and prepares monthly account reconciliations. The accountant attends meetings as needed, provides monthly variance analysis for the balance sheet and income statement, and assists in preparing and reviewing internal and external audit requests. • Perform accounting functions for assigned business units, covering general ledger, benefits, payroll, payable, G&A, accounts receivable, accruals, and allocations • Provide accounting support to shared services departments • Prepare daily journal entries and monthly account reconciliations • Conduct monthly variance analysis for balance sheet and income statement • Assist with preparation and review of internal and external audit requests • Attend relevant meetings as needed
