About the Role
The role of Director – Projects Project and Development Services in India involves leading projects to success, improving processes, overseeing overall project development, and guiding teams through each phase to meet client expectations. Candidates should have exposure to high‑end residential, villa, hotel interiors, building structures, MEP, fit‑out and façade cladding. For each project you will establish an effective organisational structure, set clear objectives and quality‑control systems, oversee a motivated project team, attend meetings, submit monthly reports and monitor budgets. You will also develop proficiency with JLL’s in‑house technology such as Project Home Page (PHP), Prolog and Atlas. Client focus is paramount: you will maintain strong, positive relationships, identify client needs and constraints, manage revenue and payment cycles, and pursue business opportunities by building rapport with prospects and collaborating with other business lines. Upholding JLL’s legacy, you will build a network of professional consultants, manage vendor contracts in line with legal requirements, identify and mitigate project risks, and regularly produce project‑related reports, analyses and reviews. • Lead project development from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations. • Design and implement effective reporting, communication, and quality‑control structures for each project. • Oversee project budgets, attend monthly meetings, and produce regular status reports. • Utilize JLL’s proprietary tools (Project Home Page, Prolog, Atlas) to enhance project execution. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, manage revenue cycles, and identify new business opportunities. • Establish a network of consultants and manage vendor contracts in compliance with legal standards. • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle. • Produce analytical reports, project reviews, and performance analyses on a regular basis. • Work on‑site in Mumbai with a 48‑hour weekly schedule; JLL supports diverse applicants and uses AI‑driven matching while ensuring data privacy.

Required qualifications include a degree in a property‑related discipline, 10‑12 years of design, construction or project‑management experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Prolog, and deep knowledge of the legal environment for planning and commercial delivery. The role demands superior communication skills to handle complex conversations with senior executives, build team relationships and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Hold a degree in a property‑related field with 10‑12 years of design, construction, or project‑management experience. • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Prolog, and a solid understanding of planning and commercial legal frameworks. • Exhibit superior communication skills to engage senior executives, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
