What You Bring

Fire and Security Design Engineer We’re looking for a talented Design Engineer to join our team and deliver advanced Fire and Security solutions that meet key industry standards, including BS5839-1. You’ll design, price, and develop integrated systems using AutoCAD and your knowledge of networking principles to create smart, site-specific solutions. From concept to tender stage, you’ll bring technical expertise and commercial awareness, confidently presenting innovative ideas to clients. • Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Fire and/or Security Design role • Knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control) • Understanding of BS5839‑1 or equivalent NSI practice • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience in fast‑paced, collaborative environments • Must have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years (for vetting clearance) • Site experience, including surveying and attending client/design meetings • FIA Advanced Fire Design certification • Proficiency in AutoCAD • Experience with 3D design tools such as Navisworks or Revit
