About the Role

The role oversees various accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month‑end close activities, providing analytical, administrative, clerical, and project support to management. • Process accounts payable invoices, check requests, and expense reports with proper coding and approvals. • Process accounts receivable invoices and post cash receipts. • Identify and implement process efficiencies where possible. • Enter data into the accounting system accurately. • Organize accounting files for vendors and customers. • Research and resolve accounts payable or receivable issues with customers and vendors. • Support internal and external audit processes. • Assist with month‑end close and reconcile various accounts. • Provide analytical, administrative, clerical, and project support to management. • Perform data entry and filing as needed. • Promotes continuous process improvement and seamless integration of business and accounting processes.

What You Bring

The position operates in a typical office environment with frequent sitting and computer use, occasional handling of objects up to 10 lb, and overall sedentary physical demands. • Five years of accounting experience. • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filtering, pivots, advanced functions). • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint. • Familiarity with Visio or alternative flow‑chart tools and ability to write process narratives (a plus). • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong organizational and customer‑service skills with problem‑solving ability. • Demonstrates personal ethics and adherence to corporate values. • Shows intellectual curiosity and maintains a positive attitude under pressure. • Communicates effectively in writing and verbally; collaborates well with team members. • Applies analytical thinking to solve problems. • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
