About the Role
The Business Development Strategist will support projects spanning data centers, aerospace, commercial real‑estate, and finance, coordinating outreach, attending industry events, and leading proposal generation with subject‑matter experts. The role requires strategic planning of client development efforts, collaboration with internal teams, and the creation of marketing and proposal materials. • Coordinate outreach, follow‑up activities, and represent HDR at client meetings and industry events. • Lead proposal generation with subject‑matter experts, creating preliminary documentation and marketing materials. • Develop and execute client development strategies, planning and organizing new and existing engagement opportunities. • Collaborate with multiple internal teams to support data center, aerospace, commercial real‑estate, and finance projects.

What You Bring
HDR seeks candidates with at least five years of relevant A/E/C industry experience, a self‑starting attitude, deep knowledge of procurement and sales win strategies, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign), and experience winning high‑value contracts are essential. Preferred qualifications include branding experience, active membership in SMPS or similar organizations, and being a local candidate.
