About the Role
The District Sales Manager reviews key sales metrics such as growth, category penetration, safety, and gross‑profit percentage, focusing on improvement areas and upcoming projects. They train and coach sales associates in effective selling processes and techniques, leading and inspiring the team to prioritize high‑potential opportunities. Regular feedback is provided to ensure accountability and drive profitable business results. The manager spends at least four days a week with different Account Managers, providing coaching and gathering customer feedback to develop improvement strategies. Feedback is shared with functional leadership to enhance the customer experience. Monthly one‑on‑one accountability reviews are conducted with account managers and other staff, and other duties are performed as assigned. • Review sales metrics (growth, category penetration, safety, gross profit) and drive improvements. • Coach and train sales associates and account managers on effective selling techniques. • Lead and motivate the team to focus on high‑potential opportunities. • Provide regular feedback, ensure accountability, and conduct monthly one‑on‑one reviews. • Gather customer feedback and collaborate with functional leadership to enhance experience. • Spend ≥4 days per week with account managers, requiring extensive travel and vehicle use.

What You Bring
The position generally requires seven or more years of related experience and involves operating a company or personal vehicle for more than 80 % of the work week, subject to a satisfactory motor‑vehicle record. An acceptable MVR report is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, ten plus years of industry sales experience, and at least five years working with the area’s customer base. Candidates should have a strong sales‑management and recruiting background, product knowledge, cross‑functional abilities, and demonstrated leadership and coaching experience. • Minimum 7 years related experience; acceptable motor‑vehicle record required. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years industry sales, 5+ years area customer experience, strong sales‑management and recruiting background.
