About the Role
We are seeking a Multi‑Site Service Manager with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team. In this full‑time role you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of two apartment communities meet both company standards and applicable laws. • Establish and manage a 24‑hour on‑call schedule for multiple sites and respond as necessary • Follow a preventative maintenance schedule for all property equipment and apartment systems across sites • Work with Property Managers to schedule and assist with make‑ready maintenance of vacant units across sites • Oversee ground maintenance activities and general cleaning, inspecting and monitoring progress across sites • Manage and organize inventory of maintenance materials, tools, equipment, and supplies across sites, seeking cost‑effective ordering and best value • Coordinate and review work orders; inspect completed work for conformance to standards • Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations across sites • Keep maintenance shops clean and orderly to ensure team safety across sites • Manage and inspire staff, resolve work problems, and provide on‑the‑job training for new maintenance staff across sites • Study production schedules and estimate workers’ hour requirements for job assignments across sites • Ensure tools are available for on‑site maintenance repairs across sites • Provide strategic guidance and support to maintenance teams • Implement standardized maintenance procedures, policies, and guidelines • Monitor and evaluate processes to identify improvement areas • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers • Monitor vendor performance and address service quality issues • Collaborate with Regional Manager to manage maintenance budget, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and ensure timely payment of maintenance invoices across sites
