About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide proactive management of site organizational and regulatory performance, overseeing organizational effectiveness, emergency preparedness, and regulatory assurance departments. The role interfaces directly with station leadership and external bodies such as the NRC, NSRB, and INPO. Key duties include managing and governing the site’s nuclear organizational effectiveness, emergency preparedness, and regulatory assurance functions; participating in senior leadership teams to drive performance and implement station priorities; handling managerial responsibilities for assigned staff; contributing to business planning, budgeting, and performance for the relevant functions; and interfacing with external stakeholders and industry organizations. • Oversee site organizational effectiveness, emergency preparedness, and regulatory assurance departments • Provide governance and management of nuclear regulatory performance • Serve on senior leadership team to set and implement station priorities and policies • Manage staff employment, development, compensation, and performance evaluations • Lead business planning, budgeting, and performance for regulatory and emergency functions • Interface with external stakeholders, industry groups, and government agencies • Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage support as needed

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications require a technical bachelor’s degree with ten years of nuclear experience (including three years supervisory) or equivalent combinations of education and experience, as well as previous nuclear utility leadership experience and the ability to meet access and medical requirements. Preferred qualifications include a senior reactor operator license, experience on INPO accreditation or evaluation teams, substantial cross‑organizational team‑leadership experience, corporate licensing expertise, and familiarity with learning program utilization. • Technical bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 10 years nuclear experience, including 3 years supervisory • Demonstrated nuclear utility leadership and understanding of organizational effectiveness • Ability to meet minimum/unescorted access and medical requirements • Preferred: senior reactor operator license or certification • Experience with INPO accreditation, benchmarking, or peer assessment teams • Proven track record leading cross‑functional teams on diverse tasks • Background in corporate licensing and learning program utilization
