About the Role

In this role you will repair trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers, using modern tools and procedures to maintain diesel and, at some locations, CNG fleets. Daily responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and fixing a wide range of mechanical systems while adhering to standard labor repair times. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on various vehicles • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on vehicles • Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Assist senior mechanics with project work • Review and address repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area meeting corporate/OSHA standards
