About the Role

The New Home Consultant guides homebuyers through the entire purchasing process, from first contact to closing, using proactive sales techniques and strong market knowledge to ensure a seamless experience. • Engage visitors and build relationships to identify home‑buying needs. • Generate, process, and close sales using self‑generated or referred leads with the 10‑5‑2‑1 selling approach. • Provide consistent follow‑up from initial contact through closing and post‑closing, documenting all communications. • Maintain the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes, reporting maintenance issues promptly. • Travel within the community to prospect leads from Realtors, co‑brokers, referrals, and self‑prospecting. • Stay informed on market competition, product offerings, community details, sales trends, advertising strategies, and demographics. • Track daily customer traffic using company‑designated tools. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction. • Attend sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive growth. • Perform physical duties including lifting over 50 lb, climbing stairs/ladders, operating a motor vehicle, and occasional use of construction equipment.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, with a college degree and real estate license preferred, and bring 1‑3 years of experience in new‑home sales or a related field. Strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools, are required. Regular in‑person attendance at communities, job sites, and offices is essential, and the role may require extended work hours, lifting over 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and occasional operation of construction equipment. • Meet education requirements (high school diploma; college degree and real estate license preferred) and have 1‑3 years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools. • Work independently with a results‑driven mindset.
