About the Role

The role serves as the on‑site project leader for fire alarm installations, responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects for assigned customers. This includes hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and project closeout while balancing customer satisfaction with financial performance. • Lead on‑site fire alarm projects: planning, execution, and completion • Perform hardware design, system programming, and installation coordination • Commission systems, conduct network testing, and manage project closeout • Manage project finances: costs, billing, collections, and pursue change orders • Communicate with customers throughout all project phases and ensure warranty execution • Direct subcontractors, electricians, technicians, and designers while ensuring regulatory compliance • Procure materials, secure vendor pricing, and oversee subcontractor payments • Load, verify, and commission devices; produce accurate as‑built documentation • Coach, mentor, and provide technical assistance to system technicians and installers • Deliver site‑specific training to owners/operators and supply operation manuals • Maintain long‑term relationships with contractors, clients, and consultants

What You Bring

Candidates must have 2‑5 years of fire alarm installation and service experience, a solid understanding of electricity and electronics, and the ability to work independently with high customer service standards. Required credentials include a high school or associate degree in a technical field, NICET and DCJS certifications, and the ability to obtain an Oregon Limited Energy Technician Class A license. • 2–5 years experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems • Demonstrated knowledge of electricity, electronics, and troubleshooting • Ability to work independently and deliver high levels of customer service • Physical ability to lift and move equipment or tools up to 40 lb • High school/trade school diploma or Associate degree in electronics/computers; NICET and DCJS certifications required • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office; understanding of IT network systems • Skilled in using hand/power tools and test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes • Strong verbal and written communication; ability to read complex construction documents • Clean driving record, pass background/drug/credit checks, and willingness to travel in Oregon and neighboring states • Preferred: knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and additional certifications
