About the Role

The HVAC Technician 2 role embodies professionalism through positive communication and appearance while delivering exemplary service to customers. Technicians are responsible for delivering portable HVAC equipment, operating, repairing, and maintaining all company equipment, and performing general shop duties, including the installation of climate‑control (CC) equipment. Key duties include coordinating deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls with customers, managers, and sales engineers; installing and training authorized operators on safe equipment use; and ensuring all paperwork and serial‑number tracking is completed accurately. Technicians must troubleshoot and repair a wide range of climate‑control units, clean and test returned equipment to meet operational and aesthetic standards, and safely operate company vehicles while adhering to safety policies. • Communicate with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls. • Deliver, install, and train customers on rental HVAC equipment. • Collect signed paperwork and track equipment serial numbers. • Troubleshoot, repair, and test all Climate Control equipment. • Operate company vehicle safely and follow safety policies. • Clean and inspect returned equipment to meet standards. • Complete delivery, pick‑up, and service paperwork. • Install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural‑gas applications. • Verify gas connections using proper safety procedures. • Maintain accurate inventory records with managers and sales engineers. • Participate in rotating on‑call schedule for emergency service, including weekends and evenings.

What You Bring

The position requires 3–5 years of formal HVAC experience or training, basic math skills, and a mechanical inclination. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be at least 21 years old, and be willing to work occasional after‑hours and weekend shifts.
