About the Role

The position involves safely operating a forklift to support construction and warehouse activities, performing preventative maintenance and pre‑shift inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety. • Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively. • Ensure required materials, tools, equipment and information are available. • Identify and implement improvements in tasks, methods, and learning from others. • Share knowledge and teach teammates regularly. • Perform preventative maintenance on all related equipment. • Inspect subordinate work for accuracy, compliance, and correct deficiencies. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transport, storage and idle time. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. • Climb and balance on steel/wood structures, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lb occasionally. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Navigate confined, cluttered and uneven work areas. • Participate in Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(k). • Contribute to Sundt Foundation charitable program.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3‑6+ years experience in industrial/commercial construction with heavy equipment. • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards; proficient with trade tools. • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills. • Frequently reach above shoulder height and below waist; occasional stooping, kneeling or bending. • Wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.).
