About the Role

The Process Technician role ensures machines operate at peak levels of quality and efficiency, drives improvements through Viega's continuous improvement process, and develops, trains, and motivates team members through knowledge and expertise. The position includes leadership duties such as providing guidance based on process and equipment knowledge and developing training procedures, as well as hands‑on production responsibilities like machine changeovers, monitoring control plans, minor mechanical repairs, equipment assembly, and responding to alarms. Additional duties cover continuous improvement activities, tooling inspection and maintenance, administrative documentation, quality and record‑keeping, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. • Lead team members by sharing process and equipment expertise. • Develop, implement, and maintain training procedures; train new employees. • Perform machine changeovers and monitor operations per control plans. • Relieve operators and fill in for supervisors as needed. • Maintain set‑up records and submit first‑article inspections for quality approval. • Execute minor mechanical repairs, adjustments, and equipment assembly. • Respond to equipment alarms and shut down machines safely. • Drive continuous improvement via daily production communication and root‑cause analysis. • Suggest and implement equipment and tooling enhancements. • Inspect, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tooling. • Document processing issues, shift logs, and QMS records. • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and 6S housekeeping. • Process non‑conformance defects and update related documentation. • Attend operational and safety meetings; perform additional duties as assigned. • Work flexible shifts as required. • Maintain high standards of quality and service with a positive attitude.

What You Bring

Candidates should possess knowledge of health and safety policies, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office and SAP, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision while upholding high quality standards. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with equivalent combinations of education and experience considered. Benefits

Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 hourly, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
