What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to partner with the Project Manager from bid preparation through final client acceptance. The role involves leading, coaching, and mentoring project team members while maintaining strong communication across all staff levels in a dynamic environment. Success requires flexibility, inventiveness, dedication, efficiency, high integrity, and confidentiality. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience). • Bring at least six years of related experience and ability to manage complex projects. • Demonstrate detail‑orientation, basic knowledge of construction law, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and project web applications. • Exhibit strong communication, customer service, and professional attitude, with a valid driver’s license.

Benefits
The base pay range for this role is $102,000 to $137,700, with higher rates for locations such as Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C., and includes eligibility for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
