About the Role
Mortenson is seeking a Truck Operator to operate trucks as directed while adhering to all safety policies and procedures. The role requires following project requirements, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe, orderly work environment. • Operate water trucks, dump trucks, haul trucks, and tractor‑trailer/lowboy as required. • Follow prescribed safety regulations and work plans/pre‑task cards. • Maintain housekeeping in assigned area. • Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning. • Observe equipment operation to detect malfunctions. • Build and maintain effective relationships with diverse individuals. • Pay attention to detail and follow written safety, operating, and maintenance instructions. • Apply basic math skills. • Perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements; lift up to 50 lb (heavier loads with assistance).
