About the Role
The Chemical Processing Operator is responsible for controlling equipment and systems that treat hazardous and non‑hazardous chemicals safely and efficiently, adhering to all regulatory requirements. This position ensures that treatment processes run smoothly while maintaining accurate documentation and operational oversight. • Perform sample testing and lab work to meet discharge limits • Load and unload bulk and containerized chemicals using light equipment • Operate chemical process equipment, filter presses, and filtration systems • Conduct daily inspections of facility and storage tanks • Process inbound and outbound paperwork, including customer manifests • Transfer oil drums and solids/fluid to storage tanks • Manage solids and chemically treated fluids in storage • Perform general housekeeping and equipment maintenance

What You Bring
• 2+ years related experience and ability to pass 40‑hour HAZWOPER training • Knowledge of heating/cooling, heat transfer, and evaporation processes • Proficiency with light equipment (forklift, pallet‑jack) and hand tools • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Valid driver’s license may be required
