About the Role

The engineer will work on global projects, customizing the HVDC Control & Protection software (MACH) and creating new control and protection functions for emerging HVDC technologies. They will troubleshoot issues, collaborate with various business‑unit stakeholders to refine solutions, and take part in the factory’s system‑test environment while ensuring all activities meet regulatory and internal compliance standards. • Enable global pre‑sales and sales teams to understand technical market requirements for wired telecommunications and align solutions with product strategy. • Provide technical expertise that drives sales, including adapting HVDC Control & Protection software for international projects. • Design and support control and protection functions for next‑generation HVDC technologies, addressing related technical issues. • Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders to optimize HVDC solutions and participate in factory system‑test activities. • Maintain compliance with applicable external regulations, internal procedures, and safety & integrity guidelines.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering and possess 7‑10 years of experience in control and protection systems. Required skills include MATLAB or comparable simulation tools, familiarity with IEEE/IEC standards, and proficiency in MS Office; experience with HVDC systems, digital signal processing, analog/digital circuit design, and technical tender support is highly valued. • Possess 7‑10 years of experience in control and protection systems and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering. • Demonstrate proficiency in MATLAB or other simulation software, basic knowledge of IEEE/IEC standards, and strong MS Office capabilities. • Prefer experience in HVDC systems, digital signal processing, analog and digital circuit design, technical tender support, and substation protection applications. • Exhibit a self‑starter attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
