About the Role

In this role you will support a broad portfolio of transport projects, working across different modes from inception through to delivery. You will collaborate with WSP’s Net Zero, Future Mobility and Freight growth areas, as well as specialist practice groups such as Public Transport, Active Travel and Transport Communications. • Contribute technical and commercial inputs to projects and proposals, delivering high‑quality outputs meeting client requirements. • Collaborate within multi‑disciplinary teams and across WSP service lines to deliver large, integrated projects from concept to delivery. • Support business development by helping secure and deliver work for a diverse local client portfolio. • Contribute to the financial and commercial performance of projects and the wider team. • Participate in WSP’s four key pillars: People, Clients & Growth, Operations, and Expertise.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has prior experience in transport and mobility planning, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with tools like TRICS and Junctions. Project management experience across multi‑disciplinary transport schemes and a creative, innovative mindset are also valued. • Experience in transport and mobility planning, design, and transport data analysis. • Strong report writing and verbal communication skills for presenting complex information. • Familiarity with development planning sector processes. • Proficiency with software such as TRICS and Junctions. • Understanding of project management across transport and multi‑disciplinary projects. • Creative, innovative, and lateral thinking mindset.
