About the Role

The Account Executive is responsible for identifying leads, prospecting, and selling the full suite of Republic Services products—including municipal solid waste containers, recycling services, electronic and universal recycling—within an assigned geographic area. The role involves meeting regularly with prospective clients, delivering sales presentations, and following up with key decision makers to close deals. Key responsibilities include generating viable leads, managing prospects, and achieving monthly revenue targets. The executive uses Salesforce daily to schedule activities, document interactions, and build detailed customer profiles. Duties also involve cold‑calling, preparing presentations, staying aware of market trends, offering additional services such as total waste‑stream management solutions, completing required paperwork, and reporting progress to the Sales Manager.

What You Bring
