About the Role
The candidate will coordinate and schedule daily LTL shipments, ensuring that each shipment aligns with cost and timing requirements. This role serves as a central point for managing shipment logistics and maintaining smooth operations. Key responsibilities include accurate processing of shipments, precise data entry, proper labeling, and preparation of timely paperwork for drivers. The individual must communicate professionally with internal and external customers via telephone and email, follow established processes, and maintain a clean work area while demonstrating urgency and attention to detail. • Coordinate and schedule daily LTL shipments. • Process shipments accurately while controlling cost and timing. • Maintain forklift certification and operate forklift as needed. • Perform precise data entry and ensure labeling accuracy. • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers via phone and email. • Prepare and verify timely paperwork for drivers. • Follow established processes to meet shipping requirements. • Demonstrate urgency, attention to detail, and maintain a clean work area. • Work in varying temperatures, dust, and occasional chemical fume exposure.

What You Bring
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with inventory control experience preferred. The position demands strong leadership, effective written and verbal communication, sound decision‑making, multitasking, and organizational abilities, while working with minimal supervision and contributing to a team in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 lb and remaining seated or standing for up to 95 percent of the workday.
