About the Role
The position works under direct supervision, follows established procedures, and performs minor repairs and limited preventive maintenance on assigned equipment. Key duties include adhering to safety procedures, conducting minor repairs and preventive maintenance, completing repair paperwork with fleet maintenance software, assisting in equipment adjustments and washes, performing vehicle safety checks, supporting senior mechanics on projects and breakdown service calls, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. • Follow established safety procedures for all tasks. • Perform minor repairs and assigned preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment. • Document repairs, parts usage, and labor time using fleet maintenance software. • Assist in equipment repair, adjustment, and vehicle washing. • Conduct vehicle safety checks. • Support senior mechanics on project work and breakdown service calls. • Maintain a clean, safe work area meeting corporate and OSHA standards. • Work in a repair/maintenance shop with exposure to physical hazards and variable weather conditions.
