About the Role
Daily tasks include gathering tools and supplies, measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit, and tracing short circuits. The apprentice also helps lift, position, and fasten wiring, conduit, motors, and other materials while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Additional responsibilities involve operating hand tools under direct supervision and performing other project‑related duties as directed. • Gather tools and supplies; maintain and organize equipment. • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit; assist with pulling wire and mounting conduit. • Trace short circuits and assist with electrical installations, connections, and terminations under supervision. • Clean work areas and dispose of scrap and excess materials. • Operate hand tools and equipment under foreman's direction.

What You Bring
The Indentured Apprentice will work under the guidance of a journeyman‑level electrician, assisting with the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites. This position offers a pathway toward a career in the trade with Facility Solutions Group. Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED, a current State Apprentice Electrician license, and a valid driver’s license, and must be able to pass a background check. The role requires attendance in the apprenticeship program, strong verbal and written communication, multitasking abilities, and positive customer service skills; lighting experience is a plus. Compensation ranges from $15.45 to $17.00 per hour, and the employer is an EEO/Affirmative Action organization. • Lift, position, and fasten wiring, conduit, motors, and other materials. • Hold a High School Diploma or GED and a current State Apprentice Electrician license. • Pass a background check and possess a valid driver’s license. • Attend apprenticeship program; demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills. • Ability to multitask and stay organized; lighting experience is a plus.
