About the Role
• Will be required to use hand and powered tools to shoot, pull, buck, or otherwise install fasteners in structural repairs. • Mechanic adjusts, repairs, or replaces aircraft structural systems and components on aircraft that are in scheduled or unscheduled maintenance. • This mechanic performs repairs and inspections and enters work in the electronic logbook/phase book. • Will be required to use brakes, shears, heat-treating ovens, grinders, sanders, and other powered tools in support of sheet metal operations. • Remove and install panels and assist the phase team with the teardown, inspection, repairs, and reassembly of the aircraft in addition to performing structural repairs.

What You Bring
• Must be able to climb on aircraft, use maintenance stands, and be able to work in/on/around the aircraft. • Must be able to pass a respirator and hex chrome physical. • Must be a U.S. citizen. • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. • Experience on MH-6/60/47 desirable. • Must have own tools/toolbox. • Will be required to be on a respiratory protection program and must pass a respirator/hex chrome physical. • Must be on the respirator program. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. • May be required to pass a basic physical to support aircraft movement or drive a vehicle on the flight line. • Must have a minimum of 6 years in aircraft structural repair experience.
