About the Role

• Perform casting process and metal additive manufacturing simulations • Use simulation tools such as Magma/Nova Cast, Simufact, or Abaqus • Interpret simulation outcomes using FEA algorithms for decision‑making • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to define problem statements • Discuss project requirements with local and global stakeholders to solve problems • Develop simulation modeling methodologies for manufacturing process simulations • Improve and mature analysis methods with test or shop‑floor validations • Coordinate with global and local teams to define digital manufacturing simulation requirements for Eaton products • Interpret, summarize, and communicate simulation results for decision making • Advance process simulation capability by developing niche areas and deploying solutions • Perform hand calculations to validate simulation predictions • Utilize manufacturing automation tools and modeling software (e.g., NovaCast, Simufact, Abaqus) • Develop predictive maintenance models and digital twins • Apply basic lean Six Sigma tools and techniques • Network across the organization to understand critical materials and manufacturing challenges • Document, plan, market, and execute programs with established project management skills

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering and has 0‑2 years of experience. Required expertise includes design for manufacturing, FEA and DfMA principles, familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., Magma, NovaCast, Simufact, Abaqus), programming in Python or R, and strong communication and project‑management skills. • Understand conventional and advanced manufacturing processes (e.g., forging, sheet metal forming, extrusion, tool design) • Apply thorough knowledge of design for manufacturing, FEA, and DfMA principles • Leverage knowledge of advanced manufacturing trends and related project deployments • Program in Python or R; C# knowledge is a plus • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing • Self‑motivated and passionate about applying own ideas • Demonstrate good learning agility and independent problem‑solving • Exhibit strong oral and written communication with analytical problem‑resolution skills • Adapt interpersonal style to diverse geographical, ethnic, and educational backgrounds
