About the Role
Associates will manage the full lifecycle of utilities projects—including water treatment, mains installation, environmental improvement and strategic resource options—by applying project‑management principles, contract and budget control, schedule oversight, and health, safety, quality and environmental standards. They are expected to lead multidisciplinary teams, build strong stakeholder relationships, solve complex problems quickly, and maintain clear communication with senior client representatives while promoting an inclusive environment. • Manage full‑lifecycle utilities infrastructure projects and programmes. • Lead and develop multidisciplinary project teams in challenging environments. • Control project budgets, contracts (NEC) and performance through robust reporting. • Engage with clients and stakeholders to build trusted advisory relationships. • Apply CDM, health, safety, quality and environmental standards on site. • Analyse complex problems and deliver practical, workable solutions. • Create, update and communicate detailed project and programme plans. • Identify client opportunities and drive cross‑service collaboration. • Promote inclusive, collaborative team cultures and mentor junior staff.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has substantial experience in infrastructure project or programme management, preferably within utilities or water sectors, and a solid understanding of procurement, NEC contracts and CDM regulations. Relevant qualifications include a degree in construction, management or infrastructure, professional membership with bodies such as APM or ICE, and certifications like PRINCE2, MSP, NEC accreditation, CSCS, NEBOSH or equivalent health‑ and‑safety qualifications. • Hold relevant degrees, professional memberships (APM, ICE) and certifications (PRINCE2, MSP, NEC, CSCS, NEBOSH).
