About the Role
• Conduct environmental assessments and develop permit applications for land development and infrastructure projects. • Perform field surveys, wetland delineations, and data analysis to support regulatory decisions. • Prepare technical reports, compliance documents, and NEPA‑related environmental impact statements. • Provide technical assistance on capital infrastructure projects, including habitat assessments and Phase I ESAs. • Support project managers and partners to deliver client value within quality, budget, and schedule constraints.

What You Bring
Capital development projects rely on thoughtful environmental planning, regulatory insight, and strong technical execution. In this role you will help clients navigate permitting and compliance requirements while balancing environmental stewardship and project delivery, directly influencing the responsible advancement of infrastructure and energy initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, curious, and eager to learn, comfortable with both field and office work, and motivated to build a career in environmental consulting. You thrive in dynamic environments, value teamwork, and can adapt to the varied demands of real‑world projects. Required qualifications include a BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resources, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) and 0–1 year of relevant experience. Candidates must have a strong safety commitment, be able to work outdoors in variable weather, and possess skills in field survey techniques, GPS, map interpretation, technical report writing, data management, and Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license is also required. Preferred experience includes exposure to the energy sector and technical specialization in wetlands, protected species management, land development permitting, or GIS. Familiarity with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and other federal, state, and local regulatory agencies is advantageous. • Required: BS in Environmental Science or related field (or equivalent), 0–1 year experience, valid driver’s license. • Familiarity with field survey techniques, sub‑meter GPS, map interpretation (NWI, USGS), and GIS software. • Strong technical writing, data tabulation, Microsoft Office proficiency, and effective communication skills. • Preferred: experience in the energy sector, wetlands or protected species management, and GIS specialization.
