About the Role
The Security Associate ensures the safety and security of resort owners, guests, and team members through proactive services. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, patrolling the property, managing alarm and life‑safety systems, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and delivering outstanding guest service. • Respond quickly to emergencies such as fire, safety hazards, or threats to life/property. • Patrol interior and perimeter of the resort to identify security risks. • Lead communications and manage all alarm and life‑safety systems. • Conduct regular and random inspections to protect property from theft, vandalism, fire, and accidents. • Maintain inspection reports, advise management of deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions. • Investigate security incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities and prepare detailed reports. • Provide guest and owner assistance, answer inquiries, give directions, and deliver packages. • Support management requests and assist teammates with their duties.

What You Bring
Candidates must be able to patrol for 8‑9 hours, work various shifts including nights (Sunday through Thursday), and have prior experience in a customer‑service‑focused security role. Strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication for incident reporting, and a friendly, professional demeanor are required. Preferred qualifications include hotel security experience, a military or law‑enforcement background, and current First Aid/CPR certification. • Perform basic first aid and CPR when needed. • Ability to patrol for 8‑9 hours and work rotating night shifts (Sunday‑Thursday). • Prior experience in a customer‑service‑focused security role. • Proficient with computers and skilled in written incident reporting. • Preferred: hotel security experience, military or law‑enforcement background, current First Aid/CPR certification.
