About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance, and assists with make‑ready processes under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the property daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance to extend asset life and reduce future costs. • Schedule and execute maintenance‑related turn events and assist with unit make‑ready inspections. • Clean and maintain exterior spaces, breezeways, common areas, and swimming pools, including accurate chemical logging. • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions, adhering to safety and OSHA guidelines. • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked, and compliant with Asset Living policies and hazard communication programs. • Track service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventive maintenance, and work‑in‑progress records accurately. • Provide exceptional customer service, monitor request turnaround, and uphold community policies and resident relations. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and utilize resources and supplies efficiently. • Maintain reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

What You Bring
• Meet education requirement of high school diploma or equivalent and possess basic computer and Fair Housing/OSHA knowledge. • Demonstrate ability to work in various physical environments, lift/move objects over 100 lb, and operate tools, ladders, and motor vehicles.
