About the Role
The role leads site-level continuous improvement efforts by developing, implementing, and sustaining practices that support operational excellence and waste reduction. It partners with manufacturing leadership and frontline teams to strengthen process stability, quality performance, and a culture of continuous improvement. It also facilitates improvement activities, evaluates operational performance, and supports change management initiatives across the facility. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, reduce cost, and improve the overall employee and customer experience. It is responsible for hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and evaluating the performance of direct reports. Primary duties include deploying continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process reliability, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction; facilitating improvement events, performance dialogues, and hands-on training; partnering with operations leadership to identify opportunities, develop action plans, and sustain gains; conducting on-site observations to identify non-standard conditions and recommend corrective actions; supporting standardized work and performance measures, preparing reports and presentations on improvements, trends, and cost savings, and benchmarking industry best practices. • Lead site-level continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process reliability and reduce waste. • Partner with manufacturing leadership and frontline teams to strengthen process stability and quality performance. • Facilitate improvement events, performance dialogues, and hands‑on training on continuous improvement tools. • Conduct on‑site observations, identify non‑standard conditions, and recommend corrective actions. • Develop and maintain standardized work, operational procedures, and performance metrics. • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing improvements, operational trends, and cost savings. • Benchmark industry best practices and integrate relevant methods into site operations. • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate direct reports.

What You Bring
Job requirements: a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business or a related field and at least five years of manufacturing or operations experience, including leading continuous improvement initiatives; HVAC industry experience preferred. Required abilities include leading cross-functional teams, strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, data analysis, facilitation skills, effective communication, organization, and project management. Essential mental and physical functions include managing multiple priorities, problem solving in a fast-paced environment, frequent standing and walking during site visits, occasional lifting of up to 20 lb, and use of observation, analysis, and communication skills. The work environment is primarily office-based with regular manufacturing area visits, exposure to noise and temperature variations, required PPE, occasional travel, and the role is classified as safety-sensitive. • Require a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business or related field and 5+ years of manufacturing/operations experience. • Preferred experience in HVAC or related manufacturing industries. • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, analyze operational data, and facilitate improvement events. • Strong communication, organization, and project‑management skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems in a fast‑paced environment, and lift up to 20 lb. • Work primarily in an office setting with regular manufacturing area visits; required PPE and occasional travel.
