About the Role
Operations Analyst – Automation ensures IT services and infrastructure meet operational targets by overseeing processes, monitoring components, and managing incident, problem, change, and release management. In Incident and Problem Management, the analyst identifies recurring issues, resolves incidents within SLAs, records details in a central repository, collaborates with problem teams, conducts reviews, and coordinates vendor‑managed product resolution, also performing post‑implementation reviews for continuous improvement. Technical Change Management duties include enforcing standardized build, test, and implementation methods, aligning change requests with business needs, maintaining change records, planning and reviewing authorized changes, and escalating critical changes to the Change Advisory Board. Additional responsibilities involve participating in project teams throughout technology enablement, providing subject‑matter expertise during design and integration, advising clients on business process services, collaborating with technology partners and third‑party alliances, and managing project execution and client relationships. The analyst creates and enhances automated solutions for Johnson Controls’ business processes, focuses on code development and technical excellence, utilizes ServiceNow for IT service tracking and Azure DevOps for workload management, and continuously improves automation skills through certifications in AI, OCR, and machine learning. • Manage incident and problem lifecycle, ensuring SLA compliance and maintaining a central knowledge repository. • Enforce standardized change management processes, coordinate with CAB for critical changes, and document all modifications. • Participate in technology enablement projects, providing design expertise and integrating automation solutions. • Develop, configure, and maintain automated workflows using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). • Utilize ServiceNow for IT service tracking and Azure DevOps for workload management. • Diagnose and resolve code issues, applying object‑oriented and low‑code principles. • Collaborate with clients, technology partners, and third‑party alliances to deliver business process improvements.

What You Bring
The team is expanding to include expertise in Microsoft Power Platform and UiPath RPA; the analyst will develop automation configuration best practices, configure Power Apps and automation processes, and troubleshoot day‑to‑day issues in Power Platform and UiPath workflows. Reporting to the Automation Operations Team Lead, the role sits within the global Automation Center of Excellence, working closely with colleagues to advance program improvements and is well‑suited for candidates with IT, networking, programming, automation, or cybernetics backgrounds. Required qualifications include mastery of UiPath or Power Platform, understanding of object‑oriented and low‑code concepts, proven code‑diagnosis experience, strong problem‑solving, self‑motivation, teamwork, communication skills, and business‑level English proficiency. Preferred skills cover React, Python or .NET programming, Windows Server knowledge, networking fundamentals, troubleshooting tools, and SQL Server familiarity; the role offers ongoing training and certification opportunities in UiPath, ServiceNow, Power Platform, Azure, and emerging AI technologies. • Pursue continuous learning through certifications in automation, AI, OCR, machine learning, and cloud technologies. • Demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills with business‑level English proficiency.
