About the Role
Key duties include erecting and dismantling lattice‑boom cranes, interpreting hand signals to direct crane operations for pile driving, reading prints and taking measurements to assist in layout, and plumbing piles with levels. The Piledriver also supports other craft workers as needed. • Erect and dismantle lattice‑boom cranes. • Interpret hand signals to direct cranes for pile‑driving activities. • Read prints and take measurements to assist in layout. • Plumb piles using levels. • Assist other craft workers as needed. • Perform repetitive hand/arm motions and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, ladders, and scaffolds. • Operate hand and power tools (electric, gas, pneumatic) of all types. • Work in various positions (bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, reaching overhead, squatting, standing) on uneven, muddy, rocky, or soft surfaces. • Read and write to give and receive directions and safety policies. • Concentrate amid distractions, make decisions, and be detail‑oriented.

What You Bring
The Piledriver role requires knowledge of heavy rigging, preferably with basic to advanced NCCER‑certified rigging skills. The employee must learn all safety hazards associated with the work and safely operate related tools and equipment. The position may be based in plant operations or on a construction jobsite. The role demands the ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb), perform repetitive hand‑arm motions, maintain balance on steel or wood structures, and work in various positions such as bending, crawling, or standing on uneven or muddy terrain. Use of hand and power tools, climbing ladders or scaffolds, and exposure to adverse weather or confined spaces are required. Effective communication with supervisors, strong reading and writing comprehension, and the ability to perform calculations are essential. The worker must concentrate amid distractions, make decisions, and be detail‑oriented, remembering and observing details. • Push/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb). • Work in confined spaces and endure adverse weather conditions. • Communicate effectively with management and supervision. • Perform math calculations and use measurement skills.
