About the Role
The Heavy Pavement Technician will support the TNAP Sub‑AMP by conducting pavement condition assessments, ensuring inventory accuracy, and providing maintenance strategy inputs for airfield and transportation pavements. This work feeds into SMS and PAVER asset visibility tools to meet completeness, currency, and data‑quality targets. • Perform pavement inspections/assessments and document conditions for PCI updates and sustainment planning. • Collect and input data into SMS/PAVER workflows, correcting discrepancies within timeline standards. • Provide technical recommendations on pavement maintenance, repair, and marking activities based on risk and mission needs. • Support Sub‑AMP planning with preventive and corrective maintenance recommendations and task grouping for WRRB. • Participate in Sub‑AMP working groups, reporting portfolio risk and performance metrics. • Coordinate with TNAP AMP leadership to translate field observations into actionable requirements.

KBR is seeking a Heavy Pavement Technician (Secret Clearance) for the PSAB ESS program supporting the U.S. Air Force at Prince Sultan Air Base under the AFCAP V Program. The role is part of the 378 ECES Engineering Support Services, which provides installation engineering, asset management, and real property support, plus food and quality-of-life services. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a valid driver’s license, passport, and an active U.S. Secret clearance, and must meet CENTCOM MOD‑15 requirements. Minimum qualifications include Air Force 5‑level (or equivalent) and at least five years of experience in pavement maintenance, asphalt and concrete paving, and pavement marking, along with specific AFIT courses. • U.S. citizen with a current driver’s license, passport (13+ months validity, 6 blank visa pages) and an active U.S. Secret clearance. • Meet CENTCOM MOD‑15 theater requirements and hold Air Force 5‑level (or equivalent) status. • Minimum five years of experience in pavement maintenance/repair, asphalt and concrete paving, and pavement marking. • Completed AFIT courses: WENG 200, WENG 555, WMGT 241, WMGT 417. • Ability to conduct field assessments in an airfield environment while adhering to safety and operational constraints. • Completed AFIT WENG 550 (desired). • Experience with airfield pavement programs and PAVER or similar pavement management systems. • Proven ability to work under strict data‑accuracy, QA, and production‑metric standards.
