About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on commitments to residents, including quality move‑in experiences, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention. This role responds to resident service requests and helps Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service. Key duties include preparing market‑ready apartments by painting, carpet cleaning, repairing, and housekeeping; completing resident service requests promptly; and applying knowledge of plumbing, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, and life‑safety issues. The supervisor also maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, performs on‑call emergency procedures, reports budget‑impact maintenance issues, schedules and records preventative maintenance, and stays current on housing laws, codes, and training requirements. • Prepare market‑ready apartments (paint, carpet cleaning, repairs, housekeeping) • Complete resident service requests promptly • Perform preventative maintenance and document activities • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks • Handle on‑call emergencies and life‑safety issues • Report budget‑impact maintenance problems to management • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal housing codes • Provide superior customer service and represent the company professionally

What You Bring
Competencies required are the ability to work any shift Sunday‑Saturday, safe use of cleaning agents and equipment, solid basic math skills, and the ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs. A valid driver’s license is mandatory, and a CPO may be required depending on city or state regulations. The supervisor must follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and hold an EPA 608 Type II certification. Education and experience expectations include a high school diploma, GED, trade, technical, or vocational school training, and at least three years of related experience. Candidates must possess EPA 608 Type II certification, a CPO, or the equivalent local certificate. The role operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions is required. Physical demands involve standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, ladders, or step stools, and traveling up to 10% of the time. The employee must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving up to 100 pounds frequently and consistently. • Possess 3+ years of relevant experience and EPA 608 Type II certification (or CPO) • Hold a valid driver’s license and meet physical demands (lift up to 100 lb, travel 10%)
