About the Role

The APC Consultant implements on‑line control and optimization strategies at customer manufacturing sites, typically on 3‑to‑6‑month projects with up to 50 % on‑site work, acting as the sole Schneider Electric representative and interacting with personnel at all levels, including executive leadership. • Execute APC projects (3‑6 months, up to 50 % on‑site) as the sole Schneider Electric representative. • Support sales through presentations, benefit studies, business cases, project estimates and proposals. • Drive new initiatives and develop innovative solutions to expand business. • Provide technical support to customers via email, phone and occasional site visits. • Participate in technology development: test software, report faults and suggest improvements. • Represent Schneider Electric at technical conferences, present papers and engage with the control engineering community.

What You Bring

• Familiarize with Schneider Electric DCS and AVEVA Optimization portfolio beyond APC. • Hold a degree in Chemical, Control or Electrical Engineering. • Possess 8+ years of industrial experience in the process sector. • Demonstrate extensive experience with APC software such as EcoStruxure APC, Aspen DMC, Honeywell Forge, Yokogawa PACE, etc. • Knowledge of dynamic process modeling, conventional control systems, instrumentation, DCS and historians. • Ability to travel up to 50 % of working time away from home. • Proficient in computer applications, software development, Windows architecture and networks. • Exhibit strong self‑motivation, independent thinking, persistence and a “can‑do” attitude. • Deliver excellent customer‑facing interactions and innovative problem‑solving. • Eligibility for company stock purchase (subject to start‑date criteria).

Benefits

For this U.S.-based full-time position, the salary range is $127,000–$144,000 per year, comprising base pay and a short-term incentive, with individual pay determined by performance, skills, experience and education.
