About the Role
As a Plumbing Design Engineer III‑IV, you will work on projects of varying size, providing plumbing design while representing the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members. • Prepare calculations, reports, and specifications. • Perform fire suppression system selection, prepare preliminary designs, and create performance specifications. • Consult on existing facility diligence, sustainability analyses, and feasibility reports. • Produce drawings consistent with client requirements and standards. • Provide engineering support to senior engineering staff.

What You Bring
The role requires experience in one or more markets such as commercial, institutional, healthcare, aviation, or large infrastructure design, along with solid knowledge of systems design and the ability to convey design concepts through sketches and renderings. • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or significant experience). • Minimum three years of relevant plumbing design experience. • Proficiency with the latest AutoCAD‑MEP and Revit. • Working knowledge of fire suppression system applications from training and project experience. • Knowledge of mechanical/plumbing trades, building codes, and construction documents. • Detailed knowledge of equipment from various manufacturers for independent selection. • Ability to perform fire suppression hydraulic calculations, estimate construction costs, and assess feasibility. • Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) certification required.
