About the Role

• Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and estimates throughout design and delivery phases. • Produce and present monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and funding data to stakeholders. • Coordinate cost information from design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for validation and auditing. • Compile built cost records for benchmarking and continuous improvement. • Lead procurement strategy, pricing reviews, scope validation, and commercial negotiations to secure fair contracts. • Manage final accounts and ensure timely agreement of contract settlements. • Own change control by reviewing, estimating, negotiating, and reconciling change orders and post‑contract variances. • Support cost risk analysis, scenario planning, contingency management, and commitment tracking. • Implement robust cost control systems, including Earned Value Management where applicable. • Integrate cost data with schedule and scope, collaborating with project controls and scheduling teams. • Drive value engineering initiatives and cost‑optimization strategies based on engineering priorities. • Monitor market trends in escalation, labor availability, and material pricing to provide timely insights. • Serve as primary client interface, delivering service excellence and executive‑level updates. • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a high‑performance culture. • Ensure compliance with internal Business Management Systems and SOX controls where required.

What You Bring

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field. • Possess 5–7+ years of cost management/project controls experience in mission‑critical environments. • Demonstrate solid understanding of MEP systems and hyperscale data‑center infrastructure. • Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. • Proficiency with industry‑standard cost management tools and software; RICS accreditation advantageous.
