About the Role

The employee will be responsible for wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. They will perform assembly or wiring needed for test preparation and final inspection, using established power‑checking procedures and equipment to verify electrical/mechanical integrity. Assignments must meet quantity and quality standards, following oral or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information, and materials must be handled according to established procedures. Routine maintenance of plant equipment, quality inspection of finished products, and communication of job progress, part shortages, or problem areas are required. The role also includes handling finished goods for shipment, coordinating carriers, loading materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment through 5S practices. Lifting up to 35 lb is expected, with reasonable accommodation as needed; no relocation assistance is provided. • Use power‑checking procedures to verify electrical/mechanical integrity of assembled units. • Communicate part shortages and problem areas to maintain job progress. • Coordinate carrier calls and load finished products for shipment.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least one year of manufacturing, production, construction, industrial, or military experience, or a technical degree, and must hold forklift driver certification. Experience with supply‑chain systems such as AS400 or MAPICS, and background in electrical equipment manufacturing or assembly (panelboards or switchboards preferred) is required. Proficiency with a variety of tools, including manual, electric, and pneumatic tools, drill presses, press brakes, fork trucks, jib cranes, templates, fixtures, measuring and testing equipment, and appropriate safety gear, is expected. Active‑Duty military members are exempt from geographic limitations. • Forklift driver certification is required. • Experience with AS400 or MAPICS supply‑chain systems. • Background in assembling panelboards or switchboards preferred.
