About the Role

Key accountabilities include managing budgets, approving invoices, monitoring cash flow, and overseeing all project stages while prioritising safety and continuous improvement. The role also involves fostering a collaborative work environment, cultivating positive client relationships, and ensuring workplace health and safety compliance. • Drive project success by meeting time, quality, and budget targets • Lead and manage employees and subcontractors to deliver exceptional service • Build and maintain strong client relationships representing BGIS professionally • Ensure compliance with contracts, BGIS policies, and HSEQ standards • Monitor project finances: budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost minimisation • Manage budgets, approve invoices, and maintain project cash flow • Oversee all project phases from scope definition to handover, prioritising safety • Promote teamwork, accountability, and open communication within the team • Apply technical expertise in building services, construction methods, and asset lifecycle • Deliver projects in construction, refurbishment, or fit‑out sectors • Manage workplace health and safety compliance on construction sites • Maintain a current General Induction for the Construction Industry card

What You Bring

The position requires strong technical capability to interpret project documentation, manage technical risks and support delivery of complex building‑services and construction solutions. The manager will also advocate for clients, lead employees and subcontractors, and maintain compliance with contract obligations, company policies and HSEQ standards. Ideal candidates have proven experience delivering construction, refurbishment or fit‑out projects, strong stakeholder management skills, a problem‑solving mindset, and financial acumen. Required qualifications are a Certificate IV in OHS (or equivalent experience) and a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, plus a current General Induction card. • Demonstrate stakeholder and relationship management with clients and contractors • Exhibit problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment • Possess financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and contract management • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word • Hold Certificate IV in OHS (or equivalent) and a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Project Management
