About the Role

The Security Officer role is part of the Property Management team at the site, responsible for supervising security and fire‑safety operations during each shift in consultation with the Security/Property Manager. The officer will manage security policies, staff, vendor compliance, emergency response, and reporting. You will work on a residential property located at the specified site and report directly to the Property Manager. The site team typically includes the Property Manager plus two additional members, and the work schedule follows a 48‑hour weekly pattern. • Maintain and update site security policies, procedures, and crime‑deterrent programs. • Supervise security and fire‑safety staff, assign tasks, and provide training on procedures, fire safety, and first aid. • Verify vendor security personnel documentation, conduct police checks, and audit contractors for compliance. • Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports. • Track material movement and manage Lost & Found inventory. • Handle emergency situations efficiently, including fires, evacuations, and human‑crisis events. • Develop and maintain an emergency preparedness and disaster‑management plan with an Emergency Response Team. • Conduct security risk assessments and design effective guarding strategies. • Organize mock drills for medical emergencies, bomb threats, riots, and other scenarios. • Operate and monitor security devices such as CCTV, access control, DFMD, and fire detection systems. • Hold weekly meetings with vendor operations heads, share minutes of meetings with property management and clients. • Prepare monthly security MIS, liaise with police and fire services, and stay updated through training and publications.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates are analytical, meticulous, and demonstrate integrity in their tasks. A qualified degree and 3‑5 years of security experience are required, with preference for relevant residential or commercial property exposure and strong verbal and written communication skills.
