About the Role

Daily duties include inspecting equipment before and after use, operating various machines such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and loaders, and continuously monitoring both waste streams for prohibited materials and equipment condition to minimize downtime. Operators also perform minor maintenance, document service, and complete equipment condition reports. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑operation equipment inspections per company policy. • Operate heavy equipment (forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front‑end loader) safely and efficiently. • Monitor waste streams for prohibited materials and report findings. • Observe equipment condition, clean tracks/wheels, and address issues to reduce downtime. • Perform minor servicing, document maintenance, and refer complex repairs to the Maintenance Shop. • Complete Equipment Condition Reports and notify supervisors of needed repairs. • Keep the shop clean and organized at shift end and perform additional assigned duties.

What You Bring

Candidates should have at least two years of heavy‑equipment operation experience and one year working at OSHA‑regulated sites, along with strong customer‑service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities. They must consistently follow company policies, safety standards, and demonstrate pride in their work. • Minimum two years of heavy‑equipment operating experience. • At least one year of experience at OSHA‑regulated sites. • Strong customer‑service skills with professional and courteous demeanor. • Effective time‑management and ability to meet schedules safely. • Consistent adherence to company policies and safety standards.
