About the Role
The incumbent will design, schedule, coordinate, and deliver performance‑based training using Constellation’s Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) model, ensuring alignment with department procedures. They will prepare examinations, evaluate trainees across classroom, laboratory, on‑the‑job, and simulator settings, and provide counseling and individualized training plans. Additional responsibilities include supporting CEC outage and root‑cause activities, keeping training content current with INPO, NRC, and internal updates, managing auditable training records, and participating in audits and emergency response duties. • Develop, schedule, and conduct performance‑based training programs using the SAT model. • Prepare and administer trainee examinations; evaluate performance in classroom, lab, on‑the‑job, and simulator environments. • Provide counseling and create individualized training plans based on evaluation results. • Support CEC operations including outage assistance, root‑cause analysis, and line assessments. • Update training curricula with INPO reports, NRC bulletins, design changes, procedural revisions, and new regulations. • Assist CEC and fleet with business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness, and special projects. • Supervise the collection, maintenance, and reporting of auditable training records. • Participate in NRC, INPO, and internal audits; prepare responses to audit findings. • Maintain current knowledge of CEC operations and effective disciplinary techniques. • Perform emergency response duties, department coverage, and support outage activities as required.

What You Bring
The role requires mastery of skills and deep subject‑matter knowledge to analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate, and propose modifications to Clean Energy Center (CEC) maintenance or technical training programs. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or an associate’s degree with relevant nuclear experience, or a high‑school diploma with extensive nuclear background) and have 3–7 years of related instructional or nuclear technical experience, plus at least 2 years of training or education experience. They must also meet access and medical requirements applicable to the position. Preferred candidates have supervisory experience and prior experience delivering nuclear training. • Required: technical degree (or equivalent experience) plus 3‑7 years of relevant instructional or nuclear experience and 2 years of training/education experience. • Preferred: supervisory experience and prior nuclear training experience.
