About the Role
The role supports the Chief Engineer in delivering high‑quality mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects, overseeing preventive maintenance, energy‑conservation initiatives, and contract procurement for technical services. Responsibilities include managing day‑to‑day operations, maintaining critical and general area uptime, and ensuring compliance with Morgan Stanley incident‑management guidelines. The incumbent will monitor budgets, prepare preventive‑maintenance schedules, evaluate vendor performance, develop SOP manuals, and lead annual power‑down processes. Performance is measured by business uptime, incident‑report closures, client satisfaction, and timely completion of technical desk complaints. Applicants are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every requirement. • Execute preventive maintenance programs to meet highest standards and promote energy conservation. • Assist the Chief Engineer in managing M&E project scope, quality, and delivery timelines. • Oversee facility contract and procurement management for technical services. • Achieve financial targets, KPIs, and service level agreements set by leadership. • Coordinate daily operations and maintain critical and general area uptime above TUI standards. • Manage building incident reporting and annual power‑down compliance per Morgan Stanley guidelines. • Plan and control budgets for engineering and operational contracts. • Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for critical equipment. • Evaluate M&E vendors for service quality, statutory compliance, and performance. • Develop standard operating procedure manuals and implement energy‑saving initiatives. • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and monthly/quarterly meetings. • Prepare critical spares inventory lists and audit vendor spare management. • Ensure preventive maintenance reduces risk of equipment failure and aligns with manufacturer recommendations.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a BEE/B Tech degree (or equivalent), have 5–7 years of facility‑management experience with corporate clients, and possess strong knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems. The position is based on‑site in Mumbai, with a 48‑hour weekly schedule, and welcomes dynamic, quick learners under 35 years of age. • Minimum qualification: BEE/B Tech; 5–7 years facility management experience; strong electrical & HVAC knowledge. • Preferred qualifications: tertiary studies in building management or business.
