About the Role

• Operate cleaning machinery and perform thorough cleaning (mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping). • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and maintain external trolley bays. • Apply all health and safety procedures during cleaning tasks. • Provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect attendance app. • Work flexible shift patterns with potential overtime.

What You Bring

Arcus cleaners are a vital part of the company, and we are recruiting a part‑time in‑store Cleaner for the Sainsbury’s Ottery St Mary store on a fixed‑term basis, working 14.5 hours per week at £12.21 hourly. Immediate start is available. Full training is provided. Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; an eye for detail, a positive attitude to cleaning and customer service are required. Applicants must have a smartphone with NFC capability to use the Arcus Connect app for time and attendance, which is a condition of employment.

The current schedule for this role is Sunday 07:00‑09:30, Monday‑Tuesday‑Thursday‑Friday 06:00‑09:00, with Wednesdays and Saturdays off, and overtime opportunities are available.
