About the Role
The role involves communicating with Waste Management drivers to resolve problems for residential, commercial, and roll‑off lines, handling incoming service orders, and directing drivers using WM’s proprietary software. Shifts may vary, include overtime or Saturday work, and may require up to 15 % travel for face‑to‑face site interactions. • Dispatch drivers to service calls, balancing cost and customer satisfaction. • Optimize daily routes in collaboration with sites and the service department. • Determine driver staffing levels to maximize responsiveness and productivity. • Assign routes and service tickets, manage route actions, and ensure completion. • Field incoming calls and emails for pick‑up or delivery requests across the market area. • Communicate with customers while drivers are on site to resolve issues promptly. • Troubleshoot and resolve delivery or pick‑up problems before they become service issues. • Ensure same‑day service for missed pick‑ups by managing routing and tracking driver movement.

What You Bring
This is a remote position with virtual training, requiring a shift start between 3 am‑7 am CST. Strong communication and computer skills are preferred, and experience in dispatch, routing, or logistics is a plus. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of relevant teamwork experience. • Demonstrate strong multitasking, organizational, and computer skills, including proficiency with WM software. • Communicate professionally via email, telephone, and two‑way devices.

Benefits
The work environment is a home office with normal finger‑dexterity requirements for keyboarding and machine operation.
